Shame on the UAW!

Well, Their you have it! The UAW has rejected the stipulations set by the Senate for the dollars needed to keep the "Legacy" American Auto Industry on life support. Since the UAW refused to agree to the Senate plan.

I propose the Big Three meet their financial metrics by cutting 60% of the employment base.
Here is an example: 1,000 workers earning $75.00 an hour, well, cut it to 400 workers earning $75.00 a hour, discontinue product lines, and spin-off other product lines as independent companies, such as SATURN and PONTIAC.

$75.00 x 1000 employees= $75,000.00
$75.00 x 400 employees = $30,000.00
The UAW membership retains the current wages at the detriment of the other 600 fellow Union members.

Here is a suggestion: Take the 50% pay cut and be fortunate you still have a job or continue to be stubborn and lose your job and your home, your car etc.

I own a Saturn ION, its my third Saturn vehicle. This version of my ION II, cost me more money and offered me less extra's, It also runs poorly and its a 2007 model.

My next car will be a "HONDA Hybrid!"

I will not support the American Three from this day forward: GM, Chrysler, and Ford.
You can bank on that .

WOW! BEEN A LONG TIME

Hello Everyone:

We have a New President: Barack Obama, Yeh Baby!
Now for the good stuff, Gasoline will hit .99 a gallon by Spring, maybe sooner!
The Senate will not bailout the "BIG THREE", say hello to Bankruptcy!
I believe, Congress should force GM & Chrysler to merge!
I believe, GM should spin off Saturn as an independent car company!
I believe, The Big Three needs to introduce fuel efficient cars in 2009, not 2012.

When you hear the politicos, crying that we need an American auto industry, we do have an American auto industry, Honda, BMW, TOYOTA, etc, they all have US plants, Cars are built here in the USA. Do we really need to keep GM, Chrysler, and Ford limping along? I don't think so!!!

IT'S TIME FOR A NATIONAL PRIMARY

It's Time for a "A NATIONAL PRIMARY" for both parties. Here is how I see it.
New Hampshire, Iowa, South Carolina, Nevada, & Florida, would have the first two weeks to themselves. 45 to 60 days later, the entire nation woul vote in a national primary to determine their Parties Nominees for President an Vice President.

Then each party will not need to have a National Convention, unless no candidate attains 30% of the votes cast. IF all candidates fall below the 30% votes cast, then the major parties would hold a nominating convention of all the delegates, Their would be "NO SUPER DELEGATES", AND the convention will go through the necessary balloting to reach a consensus without the smoked filled room and in open view of the public. NO SECRET BALLOTS.

I believe this national primary would be more exciting and balance the playing field allowing darkhorse candidates and regualr JOE's to emerge and I believe we can have Real Leadership for the first time in 8-years.

IT's IMUS THE D_HEAD

Well: he is a popular radio personality, the politicians and the book writers love him. He made a major gaffe National Radio and all the SO-CALLED VOICES OF BLACK AMERICA have called to roll the head of Sir DON IMUS.

The last time I looked we are in a free country,(with many sensors) and many sensitive people and Black politicians and religious leaders and of course the infamous and notorious of them all the Reverend Al Sharpton. It amazes me, How he and Jesse Jackson get away with so much controversy of their own and everyone in the "WHITE/JEWISH MEDIA" stays silent or be losted as Black Bashers and "the infamous RACIST."

I am An American, born of Italian Heritage, do yo think I care if someone calls be a DAGO, or a WAP, or a GREESSE BALL.(South philly slang here,) I don't give a shit, name calling is "free speech, hit, assault me, attempt to harm be physically and I will defend myself and row you over a few times.

It is time for the self-positioned black leadership in our country to quit the whining and for black america to realize that Sharpton, Jackson and others are seeking a divided America to keep their leadership status, earn big bucks sitting on the butts and working the black and minority uneducated population to support them in their divisional/racist speeches on all Americans.

Obama is someone who more than Tiger Woods offer hope to Black Americans because he displays a man of Education, he is a brilliant regular guy, who I look to as an individual like me, not black, not white, just a smart intelligent individual. When Color becomes a non-issue America will unite to be an even greater country. While Black Americans and the Press allow people like Sharpton and Jackson to take the stage and allow them to make "racist comments", we move back to the stone age. The Cival War is over. Life is not easy, if you work smart and you work hard, regardless of color of a persons skin, you will succeed.

Americans need to get their head outside their neighborhood door and learn about their own country and get the hell off your ass and vote. Everytime an American passes on voting he/she is part of the social and economic problem.

Is HIlary Clinton For Real?

Well, Are the voters of America really looking forward to electing Senator Hilary Clinton to carry the Democrat Party banner in 2008. When you look at the rhetoric that comes from her mouth, you need to wonder, Is it Bill? or is it Hilary???

I know many women who are not going to support Hilary Clinton in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, they see her as "Backward to the Womens Progressive Movement in the Boardroom." Many women would like to see her go away and concentrate on the issues within the Senate. I agree, she should get out of the race now.

Hilary Clinton's positions change from County to County, State to State. As the press has made the War, the issue of the Presidential campaign and the candidates are offering their positions,not one candidate other than myself has a viable solution.

GASOLINE PRICES A TOTAL RIPOFF

Okay! Here we go again. Gasoline in New Jersey "Regular" at a Chavez Citgo Station on Route 130 is $2.35 a gallon as of this morning. Why the Rise? The American citizen is being raped by the Oil companies, and the Hedge Fund Money Managers, George Bush, Dick Cheney and their circle of Arab Oil Shieks and the Robber Oil Barrons here in the US of A. are sticking it to all of us. My gas usage averages $60.00 per week, before Bush took office, my gas usage was $20.00 per week. My weekly miles traveled has not changed. To the VOTERS who supported G.W.Bush and the guy pulling G.W.'s strings Mr. "DICK" Cheney, I salute your for screwing up America on many fronts, plus the biggest fraud of them all the War in Iraq. G. W. and Friends have now destabilized the Mideast and because of the stupid rules of engagement, American lives are being lost daily.

I want to know Where is Osama? The George and Dick show is almost over, I hope the democrats stop tripping over one another to realize now that we are in Iraq, We need to win the fight against terrorism and I want to know from the Democrat candidates, What are they going to do to lower the gasoline prices. I believe Hilary is a phony, Obama is a flash in the pan, Edwards won't go beyond South Carolina, Biden, I doubt he could be more than a favorite son of Delaware, and the others will end up at the bottom and drop out before the 2007 is even over.
